Description

A tasty and healthy Pistachio Smoothie made with pistachios, banana, and Greek yogurt, perfect for breakfast or a snack.


Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup shelled pistachios (unsalted)
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt (or dairy-free yogurt)
  • 1 cup almond milk (or any milk of your choice)
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • Ice cubes (optional)
  • A pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Blend the pistachios in a blender or food processor until finely ground.
  2. Add the banana, Greek yogurt, almond milk, honey or maple syrup, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt to the blender. Add ice cubes if desired.
  3. Blend on high speed until the mixture is creamy and smooth. Adjust thickness with more milk or ice if necessary.
  4. Pour into a glass and enjoy immediately, optionally garnished with crushed pistachios.

Notes

Use ripe bananas for better sweetness and creaminess. Store leftovers in a sealed container for up to 24 hours.
