Description

A delicious twist on the classic Philadelphia cheesesteak sandwich combined with pasta for a comforting meal.


Ingredients

  • 8 ounces penne pasta
  • 1 1/4 lbs ground beef
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cups provolone cheese, shredded
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the penne pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the sliced onion and bell pepper, cooking until they’re soft.
  3. Add the ground beef to the skillet, seasoning with salt and pepper. Cook until the beef is browned.
  4. Stir in the cooked pasta and mix everything well.
  5. Gradually add the shredded provolone cheese, stirring until the mixture is melted and creamy.
  6. Serve warm.

Notes

Best served warm, garnished with extra cheese or fresh herbs. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
