- 8 ounces penne pasta
- 1 1/4 lbs ground beef
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 cups provolone cheese, shredded
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the penne pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the sliced onion and bell pepper, cooking until they’re soft.
- Add the ground beef to the skillet, seasoning with salt and pepper. Cook until the beef is browned.
- Stir in the cooked pasta and mix everything well.
- Gradually add the shredded provolone cheese, stirring until the mixture is melted and creamy.
- Serve warm.
Notes
Best served warm, garnished with extra cheese or fresh herbs. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
