Description

A delightful dessert combining rich caramel and cream with refreshing peppermint chocolate, perfect for gatherings and special occasions.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 tin caramel treat
  • 250ml fresh cream
  • 3 peppermint crisp chocolates (grated)
  • 2 pkts tennis biscuits

Instructions

  1. Layer down biscuits in a large pyrex dish or crush them for dessert cups.
  2. Beat the fresh cream until stiff peaks form.
  3. Beat the caramel until smooth and creamy.
  4. Fold the whipped cream gently into the caramel mixture.
  5. Spoon the caramel mousse onto the biscuits and sprinkle grated peppermint chocolate on top.
  6. Repeat the layers, ending with a layer of chocolate on top.
  7. Leave the tart in the fridge to chill and set for a few hours.
  8. If using dessert cups, follow the same steps and decorate with fresh mint and mini tennis biscuits.

Notes

For a richer flavor, you can add a splash of peppermint extract to the cream mixture. Let the tart chill long enough for perfect layer setting.
