  • 1/2 cup peanut butter chips (optional)

  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Crushed peanuts or chocolate shavings (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven and prepare the brownie mix according to the package instructions, stirring in the peanut butter chips if desired. Bake and let cool completely before cutting into squares.
  2. Mix together the creamy peanut butter and powdered sugar. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form and fold into the peanut butter mixture until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, whip the heavy whipping cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until stiff peaks form.
  4. In a trifle dish or cups, layer brownie pieces, peanut butter fudge, and whipped cream, repeating until ingredients are used, finishing with whipped cream.
  5. Garnish with crushed peanuts or chocolate shavings and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.

Notes

Best eaten within 3 days to maintain texture. Make sure brownies are completely cooled before assembly.
