Description
Delightful peanut butter cookies drizzled with salted caramel, combining rich flavors and a sweet touch for a perfect snack or dessert.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 1/2 cups creamy peanut butter
- 12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional, for smoother chocolate)
- 1/2 cup salted caramel sauce
- Flaky sea salt (for sprinkling, optional)
Instructions
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Scoop about 1 tablespoon of peanut butter and roll it into a ball, flattening it slightly to form a disk. Repeat with remaining peanut butter.
- Place the baking sheet in the freezer for about 15-20 minutes, or until the peanut butter disks are firm.
- Melt the chocolate chips and coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl, heating in 30-second intervals until smooth.
- Remove the peanut butter disks from the freezer. Using a fork, dip each disk into melted chocolate, ensuring it is fully coated. Let excess chocolate drip off.
- Drizzle each coated disk with salted caramel sauce and allow to set. If caramel is too thick, warm it slightly in the microwave.
- Place the baking sheet back in the freezer for another 10-15 minutes until set. Store in the refrigerator.
Notes
For extra flavor, sprinkle a little flaky sea salt on top when serving. Experiment with toppings like crushed nuts or sprinkles for a unique twist.
