Description

A delicious dessert combining sweet and savory flavors with a creamy peanut butter and banana layer topped with chocolate.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 2 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 4 oz dark chocolate, melted
  • 2 tbsp milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Mix well.
  3. Press the crumb mixture into a greased 9-inch springform pan to form the crust. Bake the crust for 10 minutes. Once done, let it cool.
  4. In another bowl, beat together the peanut butter, softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and mashed bananas until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
  5. Pour the peanut butter mixture over the cooled graham cracker crust.
  6. Bake the cheesecake for 25-30 minutes, or until it is set.
  7. Allow the cheesecake to cool completely before topping with ganache.

Notes

For a richer chocolate flavor, consider adding more melted chocolate as a topping.
