- Pinch of nutmeg (optional)
- 1 cup whipping cream (optional)
- 1 tablespoon Imperial Sugar Extra Fine Granulated Sugar (optional)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Crush the graham crackers and mix them with melted butter and granulated sugar. Press this mixture into a springform pan to form a crust and bake for 8 minutes. Let the crust cool.
- In a large bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Add sour cream and vanilla extract, stirring until well combined. Pour this mixture over the cooled crust.
- Place the springform pan in a water bath and bake in the oven for 90 minutes to 2 hours. Remove from the oven and allow it to cool. Refrigerate overnight for the best flavor and texture.
- In a saucepan, boil peach juice with brown sugar. Add cornstarch to thicken the mixture. Mix in the defrosted peaches and add spices like cinnamon and nutmeg, if desired.
- Before serving, top the chilled cheesecake with whipped cream and peach topping.
