A comforting lasagna that combines the flavors of cheeseburgers with layers of pasta, cheese, and bacon.
Ingredients

- 1.5 lbs ground beef
- 1 cup cooked bacon, chopped
- 1 small onion, diced
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1/4 cup ketchup (optional)
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 9 lasagna noodles, cooked
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- In a skillet, sauté the onion and garlic until soft.
- Add ground beef, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Cook until browned.
- Stir in bacon, marinara sauce, and ketchup. Let it simmer for 5 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix ricotta, Parmesan, egg, and Italian seasoning to make the cheese filling.
- In a greased baking dish, spread a thin layer of meat sauce.
- Add 3 noodles, then spread half the cheese mixture, sprinkle with mozzarella and cheddar.
- Add more meat sauce and repeat the layers.
- Top with the remaining meat sauce, mozzarella, cheddar, and extra Parmesan.
- Cover with foil and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 25 minutes.
- Uncover and bake another 10–15 minutes until golden and bubbling.
- Let it rest for 10–15 minutes before slicing. Garnish with chopped parsley or extra crumbled bacon.
Notes
For extra flavor, you can add spices like paprika or cayenne pepper to the meat mixture. You can substitute ricotta cheese with cottage cheese or cream cheese mixed with a little milk.
