A delicious and easy-to-make dish that combines crispy Parmesan cheese and zesty lemon. Perfect for busy weeknights or special occasions.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • 3 tbsp olive oil or melted butter
  • 3 tbsp lemon juice (fresh)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • Lemon slices and chopped parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, mix Parmesan, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Brush the chicken with olive oil or melted butter, then press it into the Parmesan mixture to coat.
  4. Place the coated chicken in the baking dish.
  5. In a small bowl, mix lemon juice, chicken broth, and minced garlic. Pour this mixture around the chicken.
  6. Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken reaches 165°F (74°C) and the top is golden brown.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley and lemon slices, then spoon sauce over the chicken before serving.

Notes

For extra crispiness, broil the chicken for the last 2-3 minutes of baking. Use fresh lemon juice for the best flavor.
