- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (sliced in half horizontally)
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (panko preferred)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- Fresh parsley (for garnishing)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- In a shallow dish, combine the Parmesan cheese and breadcrumbs.
- Dredge each chicken breast in the mixture, pressing down to ensure it sticks well.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and sear the chicken breasts until golden brown on both sides.
- Transfer the chicken to the oven and bake for about 15-20 minutes or until cooked through.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and let it simmer until it thickens slightly.
- Serve the chicken with the creamy garlic sauce drizzled on top and garnish with fresh parsley.
Notes
Best served hot with roasted vegetables, pasta, or a fresh salad. Store leftovers separately in airtight containers for up to 3 days.
