A delicious Parmesan Crusted Chicken served with a rich and creamy garlic sauce, perfect for any weeknight dinner or special occasion.


Ingredients

  • 4 chicken cutlets
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a shallow dish, mix together the grated parmesan and breadcrumbs.
  3. Season the chicken cutlets with salt and pepper, then dip each cutlet into the breadcrumb mixture until fully coated.
  4. In a large oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
  5. Add the cutlets and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  6. Remove the cutlets from the skillet and set aside.
  7. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  8. Pour in the heavy cream, stirring continuously until the sauce thickens (about 3-5 minutes).
  9. Return the chicken cutlets to the skillet, spooning the sauce over the top.
  10. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 10-15 minutes until the chicken is cooked through.
  11. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Make sure not to overcrowd the skillet when cooking the chicken. Adjust the garlic in the sauce to your taste. If you want a little spice, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce for an extra kick.
