- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup milk
- Whipped cream and crushed Oreos for filling
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a baking sheet.
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, beat the eggs and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the vanilla and mix well.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk, and mix until smooth.
- Pour the batter onto the prepared baking sheet and spread it evenly.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Once out of the oven, let it cool slightly, then roll it up in a clean kitchen towel and let it cool completely.
- For the filling, whip cream and crushed Oreos together.
- Unroll the cake, spread the filling on it, and roll it back up.
- Refrigerate for a bit before slicing and serving.
Notes
Serve cold and slice to show off the filling. Dust with powdered sugar or drizzle chocolate sauce for an extra treat.
