- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil (or melted butter)
- 2 large eggs
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix the sugar, vegetable oil (or melted butter), and eggs until well combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
- Divide the batter evenly between the prepared pans.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the cakes cool in the pans for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack to cool completely.
- Once cool, you can decorate with chocolate ganache and crushed Oreos.
