- 16 Oreo cookies for the base
- 4 tablespoons of melted butter
- 2 tablespoons of flavorless gelatin (optional)
- 16 Oreo cookies (crushed into small pieces) for filling
- 500 ml of whipping cream
- 200 g of cream cheese
- 6 tablespoons of icing sugar
- ½ teaspoon of vanilla extract
- Oreo cookies to taste for decoration
Instructions
- Prepare the base: Crush 16 Oreo cookies into fine powder. Mix with melted butter to form a compact base. Press this mixture into an 18 cm mold, spreading it evenly. Cool in the refrigerator.
- Prepare the filling: Beat the whipping cream until it doubles in size and becomes fluffy. In another bowl, beat the cream cheese, icing sugar, and vanilla extract until creamy. Gently combine both mixtures.
- Activate gelatin (optional): If using gelatin, moisten it with 10 tablespoons of water and heat until completely dissolved. Mix this with the filling mixture.
- Integrate the Oreo and assemble the cheesecake: Fold in the crushed Oreo cookies into the filling. Pour this filling onto the cooled base and spread it evenly. Decorate with additional Oreo cookies.
- Refrigerate and enjoy: Chill the cheesecake in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours or until it is firm.
Notes
For a firmer cheesecake, use gelatin. If you prefer a lighter texture, you can skip it. Feel free to experiment with different toppings such as chocolate shavings or fresh fruit.
