- 35 Oreo cookies with filling, crushed
- 70 g (5 tbsp) unsalted or salted butter, melted
- 300 g Oreo biscuits without filling or black vanilla biscuits, crushed
- 100 g (7 tbsp) unsalted or salted butter, melted
- 750 g (3⅓ cups) cream cheese, softened at room temperature
- 200 ml sour cream
- 150 g (¾ cup) caster sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 large eggs
- 12 – 15 Oreo cookies, quartered
- 360 g (1½ cups) heavy or whipping cream
- 100 g Oreo biscuits without filling or black vanilla biscuits, crushed
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ½ cup icing sugar
- 12 Oreo cookies
- Some crushed cookie crumbs
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 160°C (325°F) and place a shallow baking tray with water below the oven rack. Grease a 9-inch springform pan.
- Crush 35 Oreos or 300 g of Oreo biscuits, then mix with melted butter. Press this mixture into the prepared springform pan and bake for 8-10 minutes.
- In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, sour cream, and vanilla until smooth. Add eggs one by one, mixing well after each. Gently fold in the quartered Oreos. Pour this mixture over the crust and bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Once done, let it cool in the oven for an hour, then refrigerate for at least 12 hours.
- In another bowl, whip heavy cream, vanilla, and icing sugar until stiff peaks form. Fold in half of the crushed Oreos.
- Spread the whipped cream over the cooled cheesecake. You can pipe plain whipped cream on top, finish with whole Oreos and some cookie crumbs for decoration.
- Chill the decorated cheesecake for 15 minutes before serving. Slice cleanly and enjoy!
