Description

A delicious dessert combining creamy cheesecake and the wonderful flavor of Oreos, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups Oreo crumbs
  • 5 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 24 oz cream cheese (room temperature)
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup sour cream (room temperature)
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream (room temperature)
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 4 large eggs (room temperature)
  • 1 cup Oreo pieces
  • 1/2 cup Oreo crumbs
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream (cold)
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup fine Oreo crumbs
  • Half Oreos for decoration

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C) and prepare a 9-inch springform pan.
  2. To make the Oreo crust, mix the Oreo crumbs with the melted butter. Press this mixture firmly into the bottom of the pan. Bake for 10 minutes.
  3. In a bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add the sour cream, heavy cream, vanilla, and eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Fold in the Oreo crumbs and pieces.
  4. Pour the filling over the baked crust. Bake in a water bath for 60-75 minutes. Once done, cool in the oven, then refrigerate for at least 6 hours to set.
  5. For the chocolate ganache, heat the heavy cream and pour it over the chocolate chips. Stir until smooth and well combined.
  6. To assemble the cheesecake, pour the ganache on top and freeze for 10 minutes to set.
  7. For the Oreo whipped cream, beat the cold cream with the powdered sugar, vanilla, and Oreo crumbs until stiff peaks form.
  8. Decorate the cheesecake with the whipped cream and half Oreos on top. Enjoy!

Notes

Make sure all your ingredients are at room temperature. Use a water bath to prevent cracks.
