Description

A delicious and easy treat made with Oreo cookies and cream cheese, coated in smooth white chocolate. Perfect for parties and holiday gatherings!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package (14 oz) Oreo cookies (about 36 cookies)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 12 oz white chocolate or white candy melts
  • Red and green sprinkles (or sprinkles of your choice)

Instructions

  1. Crush the Oreos. Place the Oreo cookies (with filling) in a food processor. Pulse until they form fine crumbs. Reserve 1–2 tablespoons of crumbs for optional garnish, if desired.
  2. Make the Oreo Mixture. In a large bowl, combine the crushed Oreos and softened cream cheese. Mix thoroughly until you get a smooth, cohesive dough.
  3. Shape the Balls. Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls (about 1 tablespoon each). Place the balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Chill in the refrigerator for 30–60 minutes, or until firm.
  4. Melt the Chocolate. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate in 20–30 second intervals, stirring between each interval until smooth. Be careful not to overheat the chocolate.
  5. Coat the Oreo Balls. Using a fork or dipping tool, dip each chilled Oreo ball into the melted white chocolate, ensuring it’s fully coated. Gently tap off excess chocolate and place the coated ball back on the parchment-lined baking sheet.
  6. Decorate. Immediately after dipping, sprinkle red and green sprinkles over the top of each Oreo ball while the chocolate is still wet. For additional decoration, drizzle some melted white or dark chocolate over the balls.
  7. Set the Coating. Allow the coated Oreo balls to sit at room temperature or refrigerate for about 15–20 minutes until the chocolate hardens.

Notes

Store Oreo Balls in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week. They can also be frozen for longer storage.
