  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • (Optional) Orange and pineapple puree for swirling

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup sugar, and melted butter. Press into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to form the crust.
  3. In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add 1 cup of sugar, mixing until well combined.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Stir in sour cream and vanilla extract until fully incorporated.
  6. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the prepared crust.
  7. (Optional) Swirl in orange and pineapple puree for a fruity effect.
  8. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until the center is set.
  9. Allow the cheesecake to cool at room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

For serving, top with fresh fruit or whipped cream. Ensure cream cheese is very soft for a smooth texture. Use fresh fruit puree for best results, but canned can work in a pinch.
