- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 3 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- (Optional) Orange and pineapple puree for swirling
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C).
- In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup sugar, and melted butter. Press into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to form the crust.
- In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add 1 cup of sugar, mixing until well combined.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in sour cream and vanilla extract until fully incorporated.
- Pour the cream cheese mixture over the prepared crust.
- (Optional) Swirl in orange and pineapple puree for a fruity effect.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes or until the center is set.
- Allow the cheesecake to cool at room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
Notes
For serving, top with fresh fruit or whipped cream. Ensure cream cheese is very soft for a smooth texture. Use fresh fruit puree for best results, but canned can work in a pinch.
