- 1 1/2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 24 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1 tablespoon orange zest
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 oranges, thinly sliced
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C) and grease a springform pan.
- In a bowl, mix the chocolate cookie crumbs with the melted butter. Press this mixture into the bottom of the pan to form a crust.
- In another bowl, beat together the cream cheese and sugar until the mixture is smooth.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in the orange juice, orange zest, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Fold in the sour cream gently, then pour the mixture over the crust in the springform pan.
- Bake the cheesecake for 50-60 minutes or until the center is set. Let it cool completely.
- Arrange the thinly sliced oranges on top and refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
Notes
Serve chilled, garnished with additional orange slices or whipped cream. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for 3 to 5 days.
