Description

Delightful truffles combining rich white chocolate with refreshing orange flavor, reminiscent of a childhood creamsicle.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 3 cups white chocolate chips (or white melting wafers)
  • 1 tbsp orange zest
  • 2 tbsp orange juice concentrate, thawed
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (for rolling)
  • Orange food coloring (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
  2. Melt the white chocolate chips in the microwave in 20-second increments, stirring until smooth.
  3. Add the melted white chocolate to the cream cheese and mix until well combined.
  4. Stir in the orange zest, orange juice concentrate, and vanilla extract.
  5. If desired, add food coloring and mix until evenly distributed.
  6. Refrigerate the mixture for 1-2 hours until firm enough to roll.
  7. Scoop out portions of the mixture and roll them into smooth balls.
  8. Roll each truffle in powdered sugar to coat completely.
  9. Refrigerate the truffles for an additional 30 minutes to set before serving.

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks or freeze for longer storage.
