- 1 box Butter Yellow Cake mix
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup salted caramel topping
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a medium bowl, combine the Butter Yellow Cake mix, melted butter, and egg. Stir until evenly mixed.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×9-inch baking pan and spread it evenly to cover the entire bottom.
- Drizzle the salted caramel topping evenly over the crust.
- In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly.
- Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until well incorporated.
- Pour the cream cheese mixture over the salted caramel layer.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, until set but slightly gooey in the center.
- Let cool to room temperature before cutting into servings.
Notes
Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or additional salted caramel on top. Store in an airtight container for freshness.
