Description
A delicious and satisfying one-pot meal combining tender chicken, flavorful spices, and creamy pasta, perfect for busy weeknights.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips
- 12 oz linguine pasta
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large deep skillet or pot over medium-high heat. Season the chicken with Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Add the chicken to the skillet and cook for 6 to 7 minutes until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream. Stir to combine and bring to a low simmer.
- Add the uncooked linguine right into the skillet. Let it cook for about 12–14 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is tender and the sauce starts to thicken. Add a splash of broth or water if it gets too thick.
- Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
- Add the chicken back in and toss everything together until well combined and heated through.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
Notes
