Description
A delicious one-pot pasta dish featuring tender steak, savory buffalo sauce, and creamy cheese for a satisfying meal.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1.5 lbs sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 12 oz rotini or penne pasta
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 3/4 cup buffalo wing sauce (mild or hot)
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1.5 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
- Optional: ranch drizzle or crumbles of blue cheese for topping
Instructions
- In a large, deep skillet or pot, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Add the steak bites, season with salt and pepper, and sear for about 3–4 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
- Lower the heat to medium and add butter to the same pan. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Stir in buffalo sauce, honey, and heavy cream. Bring to a simmer.
- Add uncooked pasta, stir well, and cover. Cook for 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is tender and the sauce thickens.
- Lower the heat and stir in cheddar and mozzarella until melted and creamy.
- Return the steak to the pan and toss everything together.
- Top with green onions and optional ranch or blue cheese. Serve hot, creamy, and cheesy right out of the skillet.
Notes
Adjust the buffalo sauce to your heat preference. Stir the pasta occasionally while cooking to prevent sticking.
