One-Pan Spicy Honey Garlic Steak Pasta

Description

A quick and delicious meal combining tender steak, pasta, and a spicy honey garlic sauce, all cooked in one pan.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb flank steak or sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 8 oz pasta (spaghetti or penne)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sriracha (adjust for spice level)
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to the package directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak strips and cook for 3-4 minutes, until browned. Remove steak and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add chopped onion and minced garlic. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Add honey, soy sauce, sriracha, red pepper flakes, black pepper, and salt to the pan. Stir to combine and pour in beef broth and heavy cream. Bring to a simmer and cook for 3-4 minutes until thickened.
  5. Return the steak to the skillet, add the cooked pasta, and toss until coated in the sauce. Add butter and mix until melted.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

For best results, slice the steak thinly against the grain and adjust sriracha for spice preference.
