Description
A comforting and delicious one-pan dish combining juicy chicken breasts with creamy noodles, perfect for busy weeknights.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 8 oz egg noodles
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then cook them in the pan for 6-7 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken and set it aside.
- In the same pan, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds, until fragrant.
- Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine. Bring to a simmer.
- Add the egg noodles to the pan. Cook for about 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the noodles are tender and the sauce has thickened.
- Add the butter and grated Parmesan cheese, stirring until the butter melts and the sauce becomes creamy.
- Slice the chicken into strips and return it to the pan. Toss it with the noodles and sauce.
- Garnish with fresh parsley if desired, and serve hot.
Notes
For added flavor, you can sprinkle extra Parmesan cheese on top before serving.
