Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 8 oz egg noodles
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then cook them in the pan for 6-7 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken and set it aside.
  3. In the same pan, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds, until fragrant.
  4. Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine. Bring to a simmer.
  5. Add the egg noodles to the pan. Cook for about 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the noodles are tender and the sauce has thickened.
  6. Add the butter and grated Parmesan cheese, stirring until the butter melts and the sauce becomes creamy.
  7. Slice the chicken into strips and return it to the pan. Toss it with the noodles and sauce.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired, and serve hot.

Notes

For added flavor, you can sprinkle extra Parmesan cheese on top before serving.
