Description
A fun twist on traditional tacos, these mini taco cups feature crispy wonton wrappers and layers of flavorful beef, cheese, and fresh toppings.

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 3/4 cup water
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1 cup sour cream
- 12 wonton wrappers
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 12-cup muffin tin with olive oil.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until it is browned, then drain any excess fat.
- Add the taco seasoning and water to the skillet, stirring well. Let it simmer for 5 minutes, then remove from heat.
- Place one wonton wrapper in each muffin tin cup, pressing it gently into the bottom and up the sides.
- Add a spoonful of the seasoned beef mixture to each cup, followed by a sprinkle of shredded cheese.
- For a second layer, press another wonton wrapper over the first layer and add more ground beef and cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges of the wonton wrappers are golden and crispy.
- Remove the taco cupcakes from the oven and let them cool slightly before taking them out of the tin.
- Top each cupcake with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and a dollop of sour cream before serving.
Notes
These taco cupcakes can be made vegetarian by substituting ground beef with beans or seasoned vegetables.
