Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp vanilla
  • 1 tbsp baking soda
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Nutella

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until smooth.
  3. Beat in the egg and vanilla until well combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix together the baking soda and flour. Gradually blend this into the creamed mixture.
  5. Scoop out dough and flatten it slightly. Place a teaspoon of Nutella in the center and fold the dough over to seal.
  6. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Let cool before serving.

Notes

For a sweet and salty flavor, consider adding a sprinkle of sea salt on top before baking. Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
