- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 16 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup whipped cream
- 2 boxes strawberry Jello mix (6 oz each)
- 2 cups boiling water
- 2 cups cold water
- 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
- Whipped cream for decoration
- Fresh strawberries for decoration
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar until well combined. Press into the bottom of a 9×13-inch dish to form the crust and refrigerate to set.
- In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mix until creamy. Fold in the whipped cream and spread this mixture evenly over the crust.
- In a bowl, dissolve the strawberry Jello mix in boiling water. Stir until completely dissolved, then add cold water and let it cool slightly.
- Arrange sliced strawberries over the cream cheese layer, and pour the Jello mixture over the strawberries. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set.
- Once set, decorate the top with whipped cream and fresh strawberries before serving.
Notes
Make sure to use softened cream cheese for easy mixing. This dessert can also be made a day in advance.
