No Bake Oreo Dessert

Description

A delightful no bake dessert with creamy layers and a crunchy Oreo crust, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 package Double-stuffed Oreo cookies (30 cookies or 15.35 oz)
  • 8 tablespoons butter (1 stick)
  • 3 cups half and half
  • 2 containers Cool Whip (8 oz. each)
  • 1 package cream cheese (8 oz.)
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Crush the Oreos: Place 20 Oreos into a ziplock bag and crush until large crumbs, reserving 10 for decoration.
  2. Make the Oreo Crust: Mix the Oreo crumbs with melted butter and press into the bottom of a 9 x 9 inch pan.
  3. Prepare Chocolate Pudding: Whisk chocolate pudding mix with 3 cups of half and half until smooth; chill slightly in the freezer.
  4. Prepare Cream Cheese Layer: Soften cream cheese and mix with powdered sugar and one container of Cool Whip until smooth.
  5. Spread the Cream Cheese Layer over the crust gently.
  6. Spread the chocolate pudding over the cream cheese layer.
  7. Add the second Cool Whip layer on top of the pudding.
  8. Decorate with crumbled Oreo cookies.
  9. Refrigerate for at least 3-4 hours or overnight until firm.

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
