  • 16 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 16 ounces Cool Whip, thawed
  • 15 Oreos, crushed
  • 2/3 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (optional)
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream (optional)
  • Whipped Cream (for topping)
  • Oreos (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Make the Crust: Pulse 28 Oreos in a food processor until fine crumbs. Mix with melted butter and salt (if using) until combined. Press into a 10-inch springform pan.
  2. Prepare the Filling: In a bowl, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until fluffy. Fold in Cool Whip and crushed Oreos.
  3. Combine Filling and Crust: Pour the filling over the crust and smooth with a spatula.
  4. Make the Ganache: In a bowl, combine chocolate chips and heavy cream (if using). Microwave for about 45 seconds, whisk until smooth, and let cool for about 15 minutes.
  5. Top the Cheesecake: Pour the cooled ganache over the cheesecake filling. Refrigerate for at least 6 hours.
  6. Serve: Garnish with whipped cream and additional Oreos before serving.

Notes

For best texture, use room temperature cream cheese and chill the cheesecake overnight.
