  • 1 package (3 ounces) orange-flavored gelatin dessert mix
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1/2 cup cold water

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Crust: In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, granulated sugar, and melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan and refrigerate.
  2. Make the Orange Cream Cheese Layer: Bloom the gelatin in 3 tablespoons of cold water; whip 1 cup of heavy cream to stiff peaks.
  3. Beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, orange juice concentrate, and orange zest until smooth, then incorporate the melted bloomed gelatin and fold in whipped cream.
  4. Pour the mixture over the prepared crust and smooth the top. Refrigerate for 1-2 hours until set.
  5. Make the Classic Cheesecake Layer: Bloom the gelatin again, whip 1 cup of heavy cream to stiff peaks, and beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  6. Combine the bloomed gelatin with the cream cheese mixture and fold in whipped cream. Spread over the set orange layer and refrigerate for 2-3 hours until firm.
  7. Prepare the Gelatin: Dissolve orange gelatin mix in boiling water and let cool; pour over the cheesecake once set. Refrigerate until fully set.
