- 1 1/2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs (like Oreos or chocolate graham crackers)
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp cocoa powder (optional)
- Shaved chocolate or chocolate curls (optional)
- Whipped cream (optional)
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine chocolate cookie crumbs and sugar. Stir in melted butter until the mixture resembles wet sand. Press into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Melt chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 20-second intervals. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth, then mix in powdered sugar and vanilla. In another bowl, whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form, then fold it into the cream cheese mixture. Fold in melted chocolate and cocoa powder until smooth.
- Spoon the filling into the chilled crust and smooth the top. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight until set.
- Top with whipped cream and chocolate curls before slicing and serving.

Ensure cream cheese is at room temperature for easy blending. Use quality chocolate for best flavor.
