Instructions
- Prepare the Crust: In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and granulated sugar. Mix until it looks like wet sand. Press this mixture evenly into the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish to form the crust. Place it in the refrigerator to chill.
- Cream Cheese Layer: In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Fold in 1 cup of whipped topping. Spread this mixture evenly over the chilled graham cracker crust.
- Pudding Layer: Prepare the vanilla pudding according to package instructions or use your homemade version. Spread the pudding evenly over the cream cheese layer.
- Add the Fruit: Place the sliced bananas evenly on top of the pudding layer. Then, spread the drained crushed pineapple over the bananas.
- Top with Whipped Cream: Spread the remaining whipped topping over the fruit layers.
- Garnish and Chill: Garnish with sliced strawberries, chocolate syrup, chopped walnuts (if using), and maraschino cherries. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to let the layers set. Serve chilled for the best flavor and texture.
