  • 1/2 cup chocolate syrup

  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Prepare the German chocolate cake mix according to the package instructions.
  3. Pour the cake batter into the prepared dish and bake according to package directions, usually 25-30 minutes.
  4. Once the cake is done, remove it from the oven and allow it to cool for about 10 minutes.
  5. While the cake is still slightly warm, use a fork or skewer to poke holes all over the cake.
  6. In a small saucepan, heat the sweetened condensed milk and chocolate syrup together over medium heat until combined and smooth.
