- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup heavy cream (for serving)
- Chocolate shavings (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and place the pie crust in a 9-inch pie dish.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips and butter together in 20-second intervals, stirring until smooth. Let it cool slightly.
- In a separate bowl, whisk the sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Gradually add the melted chocolate mixture, stirring continuously.
- Fold in the flour and salt until just incorporated.
- Pour the filling into the prepared pie crust and smooth the top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are set but the center remains slightly gooey.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool for 10 minutes before slicing.
- Serve warm with a drizzle of heavy cream and a sprinkle of chocolate shavings.
