Description

Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup Nutella
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease and flour a loaf pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt until well combined.
  3. In another bowl, mix together Nutella, milk, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  4. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not over-mix.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  6. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  7. Let the cake cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely. Slice and serve.

Notes

Serve with a dusting of powdered sugar, a scoop of ice cream, fresh berries, or a drizzle of chocolate sauce.
