Ingredients

- 3 cups flour
- 1 cup cocoa powder
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3 eggs
- 1 1/2 cup oil
- 1 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 2 tsp vanilla essence
- 2 1/2 cups sugar
- 100 g butter
- 2 cans of condensed milk
- 150 g powdered milk
- 200 g chopped strawberries
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and prepare the mold by greasing it and placing parchment paper on the bottom. Flour the sides.
- For buttermilk, mix the whole milk with lemon juice and let it rest for 15 minutes.
- Sift together the flour, baking soda, salt, and cocoa powder in one bowl. In another bowl, mix the eggs, oil, buttermilk, and vanilla. Gradually add the dry ingredients in two parts, mixing gently. Add sugar and mix well.
- Pour the batter into the prepared mold and bake for 25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let it cool for 10 minutes in the mold and then transfer to a rack.
- For the filling, melt butter in a pot, add condensed milk and powdered milk, stir until homogeneous, then add chopped strawberries.
- Cut the cake into layers, fill with the strawberry mixture, cover with melted chocolate, and decorate as desired.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to three days, or refrigerate for up to a week. Let it come to room temperature before serving.
