A delightful roll cake combining rich chocolate cake, creamy Oreo frosting, and topped with Ferrero Rocher chocolates and M&M’s. Perfect for parties or as a sweet indulgence at home.

- 250g all-purpose flour
- 75g unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 200g granulated sugar
- 200g brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 120ml vegetable oil
- 240ml buttermilk
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 240ml hot water
- 200g unsalted butter, softened
- 400g icing sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 200g crushed Oreo cookies
- 2–3 tbsp milk
- Ferrero Rocher chocolates for decoration
- Crushed Oreo cookies for decoration
- M&M’s for decoration
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, combine the granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, vegetable oil, buttermilk, and vanilla extract.
- Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until combined.
- Stir in the hot water to make a smooth batter.
- Pour the batter onto the prepared baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool completely.
- Beat the softened butter and icing sugar together until fluffy and smooth.
- Add the vanilla extract and crushed Oreos, mixing until well combined.
- If the frosting is too thick, add 2-3 tablespoons of milk to achieve a creamy consistency.
- Once the cake has cooled, spread the Oreo frosting evenly across the top.
- Carefully roll the cake from one end to the other, creating a log shape.
- Place the roll on a serving platter, seam side down.
- Top the roll with Ferrero Rocher chocolates, crushed Oreos, and colorful M&M’s. Slice and serve your beautiful creation!
Notes
Serve chilled or at room temperature. Drizzle with chocolate sauce or add a scoop of vanilla ice cream for an extra special touch. Store leftovers in an airtight container.
