M&M’s Ferrero Oreo Roll Cake

Description

A delicious and fun dessert that combines rich chocolate cake with creamy Oreo frosting, topped with Ferrero Rocher chocolates and colorful M&M’s.


Ingredients

  • 250g all-purpose flour
  • 75g unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 200g granulated sugar
  • 200g brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 120ml vegetable oil
  • 240ml buttermilk
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 240ml hot water
  • 200g unsalted butter, softened
  • 400g icing sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 200g crushed Oreo cookies
  • 23 tbsp milk
  • Ferrero Rocher chocolates for decoration
  • Crushed Oreo cookies for decoration
  • M&M’s for decoration

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix together the granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, vegetable oil, buttermilk, and vanilla extract. Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ones, mixing until combined.
  4. Stir in the hot water to create a smooth batter.
  5. Pour the batter onto the prepared baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow the cake to cool completely.
  6. Beat the softened butter and icing sugar together until fluffy and smooth. Mix in the vanilla extract and crushed Oreos. Add 2-3 tablespoons of milk for a creamy consistency.
  7. Once the cake is cool, spread the Oreo frosting evenly across the top. Carefully roll the cake from one end to the other to create a log shape. Place the roll on a serving platter with the seam side down.
  8. Top the roll with Ferrero Rocher chocolates, crushed Oreos, and colorful M&M’s. Slice and serve your beautiful creation!

Notes

Be careful when rolling; use a clean kitchen towel to help shape it without breaking. Refrigerate for up to a week for best taste.
