M&M’s Ferrero Oreo Roll Cake

Description

A fun and delicious dessert that combines rich chocolate, creamy Nutella, crunchy Oreos, and colorful M&M’s.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1/2 cup Nutella or chocolate spread
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup crushed Oreos
  • 1/4 cup M&M’s (or more for extra crunch)
  • 4 Ferrero Rocher chocolates, crushed
  • Extra M&M’s for decoration
  • Crushed Oreos for decoration
  • Ferrero Rocher chocolates, halved (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, sift the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt together.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat the eggs and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the oil, milk, and vanilla extract and mix well.
  5. Gradually blend the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until smooth.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Once baked, remove the cake from the oven and let it cool slightly.
  9. Place a clean kitchen towel on a flat surface and dust it with powdered sugar.
  10. Carefully turn the cake onto the towel and peel off the parchment paper.
  11. Roll the cake up in the towel from one short side and let it cool completely.
  12. For the filling, beat the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Fold in the Nutella and crushed Oreos gently.
  13. Unroll the cooled cake, spread the Nutella cream mixture evenly, then sprinkle with crushed M&M’s and Ferrero Rocher bits.
  14. Carefully roll the cake back up, keeping the filling inside.
  15. Decorate the top with extra M&M’s, crushed Oreos, and Ferrero Rocher halves if you like.
  16. Refrigerate the roll cake for 1 hour to set before slicing and serving.

Notes

Make sure to chill the cake after decorating for better shape retention. Customize filling with other candies if desired.
