Ingredients

- 1 cup (120g) all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup (50g) cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- A pinch of salt
- 1/2 cup (120ml) vegetable oil (or melted butter)
- 3/4 cup (150g) sugar
- 2 large eggs
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a mini cake pan.
- In a bowl, mix together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk together the vegetable oil and sugar until combined. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared mini cake pan and bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool completely before applying the mirror glaze.
Notes
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to three days or refrigerate for up to a week. Bring to room temperature before serving.
