Description
A delicious dish that combines rich flavors of steak and shrimp with fresh vegetables and herbs, perfect for busy weeknights or casual gatherings.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1/2 lb (225g) sirloin or flank steak, thinly sliced
- 1/2 lb (225g) shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 8 oz noodles (e.g., linguine or spaghetti)
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled
- 2 cups spinach
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the steak and season with salt and pepper. Cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes, then remove from the skillet.
- In the same skillet, add the shrimp and cook until pink and cooked through, about 2-3 minutes. Remove and set aside with the steak.
- Add cherry tomatoes and spinach to the skillet and sauté until the spinach wilts and the tomatoes soften, about 2-3 minutes.
- Return the steak and shrimp to the skillet and add the cooked noodles. Drizzle with lemon juice, add feta cheese, and toss everything together until well combined.
- Serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
For best results, serve warm and sprinkle some extra feta cheese on top. This dish pairs well with a simple green salad or a side of crusty bread.
