Description

A delicious and healthy dish featuring tender chicken breasts combined with spinach, mushrooms, and feta cheese, perfect for family dinners or special occasions.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 6 slices bacon, chopped
  • 2 cups fresh spinach
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  3. In a large oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and cook the bacon until crispy. Remove bacon and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add the mushrooms and garlic, and sauté until mushrooms are tender.
  5. Add the fresh spinach and cook until wilted.
  6. Stir in the bacon and chicken broth, then place the chicken breasts on top.
  7. Sprinkle feta cheese over the chicken.
  8. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.
  9. Serve warm and enjoy!
