Ingredients

- 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 1 1/4 cups warm water
- 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
- 1 cup feta cheese, crumbled
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the warm water and yeast; let it sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, salt, and pepper.
- Add the yeast mixture and olive oil to the flour mixture and stir until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface until smooth, then place it in a greased bowl.
- Cover and let it rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 60 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Once risen, flatten the dough on a greased baking sheet.
- Sprinkle spinach and crumbled feta on top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Serve with olive oil for dipping or alongside a fresh salad. This bread can also be sliced for sandwiches or served with spreads.
