Description

A delightful Mediterranean dip featuring shrimp served in a warm, hollowed-out bread bowl, perfect for gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 large sourdough or rustic bread loaf (top cut off, hollowed out)
  • 1 lb medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and add minced garlic, sautéing for about 1 minute.
  3. Add the shrimp and smoked paprika, cooking until the shrimp turn pink and are cooked through, about 4-5 minutes.
  4. Hollow out the bread loaf and fill it with the shrimp mixture.
  5. Bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes until the bread is toasted.
  6. Serve warm as a dip.

Notes

Use fresh shrimp for the best flavor. You can add cheese on top before baking for extra flavor.
