A delicious and hearty one-pan dish featuring layers of potatoes, spinach, tuna, and rich Mediterranean flavors.
Ingredients

- 1 kilogram potatoes, peeled and cut into 5mm slices
- 200 grams chopped baby spinach leaves
- 1 onion, finely sliced
- 1 can of tuna, drained
- 300 ml milk
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 100 grams grated cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Boil the potato slices in salted water for about 5-7 minutes until just tender. Drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced onion and sauté until translucent.
- Add the chopped spinach to the skillet and cook until wilted.
- In a baking dish, layer half of the potato slices at the bottom.
- Add the spinach and onion mixture over the potatoes, then layer the drained tuna on top.
- Finish with the remaining potato slices.
- Pour the milk over the entire dish and season with salt and pepper.
- If using, sprinkle cheese on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes until golden and bubbling.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
Serve hot or warm with a side salad or crusty bread. Drizzle with olive oil or lemon for extra flavor.
