Description

Delicious flatbreads stuffed with a flavorful mix of feta, mint, and spinach, perfect as a snack or part of a meal.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup warm water
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped fresh mint
  • 1/2 cup chopped spinach
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the flour and salt.
  2. <liGradually add the warm water and olive oil, mixing until a dough forms. Knead the dough for 5-7 minutes until smooth.

  3. Let the dough rest for 30 minutes.
  4. In another bowl, combine the feta cheese, mint, spinach, salt, and pepper.
  5. Divide the dough into equal portions and roll out each piece into a flat round.
  6. Place a spoonful of the feta mixture in the center of each round, fold over, and seal the edges.
  7. Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the stuffed flatbreads for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  8. Serve warm.

Notes

These flatbreads are best served warm, with yogurt or tzatziki for dipping. They can be made ahead of time and stored in the fridge.
