Description

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 pound lean ground turkey
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 medium zucchini, halved and sliced

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and cook until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
  4. Add the ground turkey, breaking it apart, and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  5. Add the sliced zucchini, season with salt and pepper, and cook for another 5-6 minutes until tender.
  6. Serve warm.

Notes

Feel free to add other vegetables like bell peppers or spinach for added nutrition. Adjust seasonings to taste, and for heat, add crushed red pepper flakes.
