Description

A delicious flatbread topped with sautéed mushrooms and creamy burrata cheese, perfect for a light meal or appetizer.


Ingredients

  • 2 flatbreads or naan
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (for brushing)
  • 2 cups mushrooms, sliced (cremini or button)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil (for sautéing)
  • Burrata cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs (like basil or parsley) for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Brush the flatbreads or naan with 1 tablespoon of olive oil and place them on a baking sheet.
  3. In a skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced mushrooms and sauté until golden brown and tender, about 5-7 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Spread the sautéed mushrooms evenly over the flatbreads.
  5. Tear the burrata cheese and place it on top of the mushrooms.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes until crispy and the cheese is slightly melted.
  7. Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh herbs before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, add minced garlic when sautéing the mushrooms. You can substitute burrata with mozzarella if needed.
