Ingredients

  • 500g minced chicken
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1/2 cup bell pepper, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • Olive oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine minced chicken, egg, breadcrumbs, milk, chopped bell pepper, onion, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Form the mixture into meatballs, about 2 inches in diameter.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the meatballs for 5-7 minutes, turning until all sides are golden brown.
  4. In a separate pot, combine heavy cream and chicken broth. Bring to a simmer.
  5. Add the browned meatballs into the cream sauce and let simmer for 10 minutes until the meatballs are cooked through and the sauce thickens slightly.
  6. Serve warm, garnished with additional chopped bell pepper or herbs if desired.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months. Adjust spices to taste.
